Bio
Nick Mills, known artistically as NiCasso NaVinci, is a lifelong Galvestonian and proud BOI whose creative work is deeply rooted in the island's shoreline.
After a long career in management, he found himself drawn to the quiet rhythm of early morning walks along the beach. Those daily moments of reflection led him to begin photographing the coast and collecting shells, driftwood and other natural textures that caught his eye.
What began as simple appreciation evolved into a unique artistic practice: combining found materials with imagery and thoughtful written elements. Today, Nick transforms everyday shoreline discoveries into expressive pieces that celebrate the beauty, character and spirit of Galveston.
