Bio
Galveston has always been part of Lori's story and it remains a defining thread in her art. Born on the Island and raised on a dairy farm on the West End, she grew up surrounded by marsh grasses, Gulf water, coastal wildlife, and the shifting landscape of island life. Those familiar shapes and colors continue to appear throughout her work.
Lori explores fluid acrylics, resin, eco-resin and mixed media, creating pieces that range from abstract studies of color and movement to dimensional waves and imaginative interpretations of marine life. Her work reflects a curiosity that keeps her experimenting with new materials and approaches.
